ROOTED IN EVERY SESSION
Sustainability and Holistic Wellbeing
Each of us is deeply impacted by our environment, including the social, ecological, and societal aspects. We know that the environment can have a deep and lasting impact on our wellbeing. Nature asks us to integrate our senses, emotions, and physical body. Working with individuals, couples and families in nature can be very helpful as it provides multiple tools not available in an office such as outdoor play, experimentation, and metaphor, which are all therapeutic. Nature itself can become a co-counsellor.
Inclusiveness
Ecological Counselling celebrates working with individuals with gender, ability, and cultural diversity, along with children, youth and adults with twice exceptional designations (2E), anxiety, specific phobias, Giftedness, Autism Spectrum (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyper-Activity designations.
With both lived experience along with tools and resources and training to help support you and your loved ones.

Our Services
Individual Therapy
Working one on one to spark changes using education, discussion, tools and skill building. Use of a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology and somatic interventions. I believe in integrative approaches including self compassion, mindfulness and creative therapies.
Family Therapy
Integrative and Emotion Focused Family Therapy enable families to unearth emotions, relate to their children better, find flow, encourage growth, and construct a supportive space for enhanced communication, skill building, problem solving and achieving goals for change.
Body Image & Eating Disorder Therapy
Based on scientific research, Family Based Therapy (FBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) are effective treatments for eating disorders. I have been trained as an eating disorder clinician, to identify eating disorders and establish therapeutic interventions for families needing support and individuals struggling with their relationship with food and their body.
Couples & Relationship Therapy
Using positive therapeutic interventions for both self and couple exploration to deepen understanding of patterns and re-write stories together. Using Emotion Focused approaches to encourage and support greater connection along with the use of other research informed interventions to enhance relationships and shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
In-person & remote options
Appointment locations include in-person at a cozy & private counselling cottage, online through Zoom Professional or in nature in the Greater Victoria area.
